Hunter Strategy offers an excellent opportunity to work for the National Geo-Spatial-Intelligence Agency’s Office of the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Information Technology Services Directorate (CIO-T) in cybersecurity services protecting, preventing and defending against network cyber- attacks. As NGA seeks to procure an efficient enterprise approach in providing A&A, Risk Management, Blue Team Activities, and ISSA&O while adhering to the concepts embodied in the RMF, we seek highly motivated individuals to accomplish the following objectives of the CRMA program.

Requirements:

  • IAT-III & CSSP Auditor

As a Security Controls Assessor, the candidate will perform the following functions:

Role Description:

  • Experience with ACAS (Nessus) and DISA STIGs
  • Identify system and agency risks and conducted vulnerability analysis in accordance with industry best practices
  • Research, detect, analyze, and exploit vulnerabilities of information systems
  • Provide technical knowledge and analysis of highly complex vulnerabilities
  • Apply principles, methods, and knowledge to identifying and remediating vulnerabilities
  • Provide technical assistance in test plan development and security control testing based on security assessments
  • Experience with web assessment software, vulnerability scanning tools, or penetration test tools
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Experience presenting to clients or other decision makers to present and sell ideas to various audiences (technical and non-technical)
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to advise clients on technical designs, implementations, and solutions to protect against cyber security attacks
  • A&A (RMF) SME with experience testing and assessing cyber security solutions

Level Description: Senior (6-10 years)

Please note: This is a Senior level position with a requirement of 6-10 years of demonstrated experience where the candidate will:

  • Possess and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments
  • Plans and leads major technology assignments
  • Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success
  • Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments
  • May supervise others

Skills:

Potential Candidates must have proven experience in the following:

  • ACAS (Nessus) and DISA STIGs
  • A&A, Risk Management
  • Effective communication strategies for programs and security processes
  • Continuous monitoring of systems
  • Knowledge in creating and reviewing POA & Milestone.

Minimum education/certification requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology (OR)

related field or equivalent experience

  • IAT-III & CSSP Auditor

Location/Worksite: This position is based out in Government’s NGA facilities in Springfield, VA.
